I hate to ask why the fork Weemamabell

these were just plastic forks lying at the back of a cupboard from some long ago party ! they have came in quite handy for the Greenhouse .

I thought that maybe you had used them to support the seed packet to identify the trays. In fact, I had been thinking what a good idea, beats the paper getting soggy and the growing instructions illegible. Even better, they could have a duel purpose!

Just flicking through your pics, seen this one and I must say Xela has come up with a cracking idea. It would now be interesting to see who out of Xela and your self Weemamabell writes into one of the garden mags with a 'Top Tip' to win some garden gift vouchers.
All those left over plastic forks from bbq,picnics can be put to good use as label holders.

The irony is that I used to keep some plastic cutlery in my kitchen drawer for the children's school pack lunches. When I was sowing some seeds after posting in this thread I went to the drawer thinking there may be some plastic forks left (my youngsters are now young adults) ......... only plastic spoons but no forks, or knives which possibly could have been a substitute. :-(
