Clematis 'Kaiu'

This is pretty - does it always flower late??

No, the textbooks state mid summer onwards but mine's later.
I think because i had it as such a young plant though, that's all.
I bought it in the mid summer at SW when they had an offer on the young Clematis.

Oh lovely Louise....I've just bought C 'princess Diana' and.... C 'purpurea plena elegans'.....as Spritz says dont show us anymore....lol
