do they just grow in water like this antigone?

Hi Sanbaz, yes they do! I got some glass chippings from a garden centre or you could use glass beads or pebbles, whatever, then just fill with water to the top of the pebbles and perch the bulbs on the top. They look realy nice in a glass vase too but obviously they don;t need compost - this is the third year I've done then like this. Got to keep the water topped up and I use rainwater rather than tap.x

I've only grown them in compost. Do you use the same bulbs for growing like this or do you buy new ones.

Blodyn not sure I understood your comment so just to say that I buy new bulbs every year and they are the ones prepared for indoor flowering - in case you meant did I keep them year on year - I tend to plant them in the garden after flowering - but I don't think they do very much.
Hope this is of assistance! We'll all have to put our pics up when they are flowering.....

Yes I thought you re-planted the same bulbs. Thanks for the explanation :o)
