Fijian jungle flower

Called the 'mokosoi' - is sweet scented flower that is used as a scent in cocnut oil body oil. Also used in other parts of polynesia in the same way. In Samoa the flower is called 'Mosoi' ...almost similar to the Fijian word.

In this part of the world even the jungle that backs onto your property is your garden. You care for the flora and fuana as if your own. many of the trees and plants and animals etc are tribal totems of the indigenous people here. They treat it with respect...and the flora and fauna return that respect
