Pentas will survive direct sunlight during hot, hot summers - I have them growing in outside garden beds over here and as long as they get a drink every day ... they come through the heat and humidity beautifully!

They really do, Bernieh! They are my new favorite flower!

I now have a whole outdoors garden bed full of them - there's all sorts of different colours available now and they just keep on growing and flowering no matter what! Well worth it.

I want at least one or two more...I like the dark red one and maybe a white one... =)

Both great choices - I have those myself. My red also has the variegated foliage which is really nice. I don't think you'll be disappointed with the pentas.

Not that I can tell, Homebird - but then I have terrible allergies. Yes, the pentas are lovely. I regret not buying the deep red one as well.
