Oh what a gorgeous colour! I love dahlias...but mine have just started to put up blossom and the frost is here already....don't know why they were so slow...? thank goodness I can look at your successes on goY..

I love Dahlias Lori....my favourites, they flower for ages, then the first frost blackens the foliage and then here in Britain we are supposed to lift and store them until next spring....though it isnt always necessary as our winter are not too bad and a mulch usually works....:>)

I have to lift mine now, Motinot. I'll post a pic that I just took...they were just budded up..hadn't even bloomed yet! and the frost took them last night...boo hoo!

I saw the pic you posted Lori....my favourite flowers....I wait all season for the Dahlias....that would be a garden disaster for me......
