thanks bernieh. it's a start...still getting brain around the site and the 2 uploaded pics were wide panoramas, didn't realise they have to be square. oh well, more to learn

Well it's a good start - that's how we all do it. We try things ... see if they work ... and if they don't, then try something else. It's always a good idea to start with a certain area first and then work around the garden from there. But, of course, by the time you get back to that original spot ... you've thought of something else to try. Lol! It just goes on and on.

know exactly what you mean! yr based in australia(?) funny reading you using the word hardy, but in the sense of drought hardy, the very opposite of here. enjoyed reading that as it was something i never considered when gardening here. i guess pics can only be a square format then?

Yes Gossy, the photos do need to be square format less than 3mb or they won't fit well at all. I'm based in north-eastern Oz and I didn't realise when I first joined that the word 'hardy' had such a different meaning for you over there. Here, in my spot, hardy does mean drought and heat hardy. I'm trying hard now to clarify that word when I use it!
