You can have all the rain you want Bernieh.........I am fed up with it.
Still we are supposed to get 30 and 32C on the weekend....I am looking forward to it.

Yes we hit 33C last week - been 30 or 31 since, so it feels like summer over here. We haven't had any rain - apart from one quick shower on the weekend gone- since mid-March, but that's usual for us over here.

I have holidayed in Cairns...loved it.
I live in the northern beach suburbs of Perth.

Star - I'm up in Townsville .. or rather Brownsville as we locals like to call it ... just south of Cairns. While Cairns is surrounded by lush rainforest areas, that is not the case down here. I've only been to Perth once many years ago and did get to see part of the northern beaches area - it was a stunning spot. I can remember the colour of the water and the length of the beaches - lucky you.
