Fall Grass

It's always great seeing new growth after a fire.

Recflaimation is so fascinating to me Bernieh. This will be nice to have access to over the years.

this time of year makes my heart over flow...it is so pretty..

Somethign I rarely witness, since the white stuff is sooo slow, well was, about four inches deep and going now. :-)

Oh dear..we have a good layer of snow in the Olympic's and the Cascades..this morning..has been cool but we are at sea level so we get to see it for the most part..it is so pretty with the fall leaves in the foreground of the snowy mountains...

Does sound beautiful. I went up into the Olympics in November once, just rained on me as I ventured near the white caps. Wonderful place!

Oh my ..that is late in the year to be going up in the Mountains...you are lucky you got rain!...lol...

I found a little pull off up there with a picnic table, all the grass was teeming with black morels! One of the best camping dinners I've ever had. :-) I'm fairly sure halloween had just passed.

I am seeing lots of mushrooms sprouting in my front lawn right now..my husband loved hunting mushrooms in the mountains..he would have made a feast of your black morels as well.. :)

The textures are wonderful.
