Yeah - have lost a chook because of one of these cuties!

They make you so mad when that happens , a friend lost 6 in one night and 3 dead chooks left , could 'nt fit another one in.

Wow - that was one hungry python. I've lost more to the dingoes around here - they come down from the hills every second year or so and do the deed!

Keeping them in your ceiling, are you mad ?????
Surely they come down from there and make 'you' the next item on the menu ?

They do come out of ceilings to look for mates at breeding time , you have to leave an exit space somewhere under thev roof eaves so they can get out
t hey are very well fed on whatever ventures into their space , here we have the giant rainforest white tail rat which like to get into house roofs and chew electrical cables and ceiling insulation , the python love big as cats white tail rats..

I'd live in fear of them coming out of the ceiling/loft and coming into the rooms.

They cannot get into the house so all is well . although I do know of people who live in houses with exposed rafters and no ceiling that have a pet python coiled around the rafters, the snake can get out easily as they don't have insect screens or infact glass in the windows only wooden shutters in case of a storm of cyclone . Crazy. not for me.

What is a chook, please?

I thought a chook was a chicken.
