Pitta versicolor (Pitta versicolor.)

A rainforest ground dweller , living on grubs, worms, beetles, shells, small reptiles and fruits. This specimen
flew ifto our window killing itself. we frooze it later sending to a museum where a taxidermist prepared it for a tropical bird display,so this lovely bird gives pleasure to others still .
The name Pitta I use is in this birds memory.I will put on a few more photos of this bird.
