Yes, they're still outside Skillen, but are begining to droop now, so will take them to the greenhouse, and cut them down completely to soil level, and will not water them until the Spring

Don't look very droopy to me Louis! Do you leave them in their pots over winter? I don't have a greenhouse. Do you think they would be ok in the garage. Do you not have to wrap the tubers in newspaper?

Hi Skillen, I normally leave them in a sheltered place like in the greenhouse or garage over winter in their pots. Don't water them at all, during the winter, then in the Spring, get them by the window facing the sun, and just most the soil with a spray, and leave them. Eventually they will start to come up...........Good luck :))

Louis, what's the difference between annual begonia and other begonias and how do you tell the difference?

To be honest Skillen, I treat all begonias the same. At this time of year, I bring them to the greenhouse and don't water them until the Spring, and they seem to survive, so to be honest, I don't know the difference...sorry.

Yes I reckoned that begonias and 'annuals' were the same. It was just that someone said they don't regrow. So I thought I would ask you. Thanks Louis.

Now that's my favourite. Do yours STILL look like that Louis? Are they still outside?
