The quinces were knocked off the tree when we had a 30+ft Leylandii hedge removed and a branch fell on the quince tree. Luckily the quince tree was undamaged. I made 7 x 500gm pots of quince cheese....delicious with cheese or to add to casseroles or roast meats for a rich sauce.
