Yes, it takes over in a hurry, but I love it, and it attracts the butterflies like magnets - doesn't smell to pretty though!

No you're right about the smell. The lantana has taken over huge spots of the bushland that surrounds our property - the biggest clump of it is now around 2 metres high and 4 metres wide. My poor hubbie tried in vain to get rid of some of the big clumps when we first moved out here ... they just came back!

It has such pretty flowers ... over here I'm afraid it's regarded as a highly noxious weed as it takes over vast areas of our bushland.
