You get a good variety of birds in your garden, is it a large garden ?
Do the birds go to one area of it, or all over it ?

The yard is just average size Louise, and I let a lot of natural plants live there as well as the showy ones - goldenrod, asters. pokeweed, yew, maples, ash. Plus a wide variety of feed - mixed seed, sunflower, black oil sunflower, peanuts both shelled and unshelled, suet chunks, suet logs, suet blocks, niger, finch mix, water dishes, berries - and lots of natural cover from letting the gardens 'over grow' a bit. So I give up the manicured, organised look to the yard in exchange for a wide selection of birds, a fair amount of animals, and the enjoyment of almost living near nature!

Your efforts pay off, you've a great selection visiting :-)
Does it cost a lot to give them the shop bought foods ?

More than I should be spending but not enough to put me out of pocket. I don't smoke, drink or eat out, so the animals are where I chose to waste money, lol!

He's a real beauty...will have to post a pic of the gray/black squirrel who's been fattening all summer in our backyard... I love having them around. Good clean living never did anyone any harm? lol...good for you!
