Catalpa tree – Catalpa speciosa

This is the flower of the Catalpa tree. It is also known as the cigar tree. Kids have been known to take the seedpods (shown in the other pic) either green or brown, and lighting them up like the name suggests!
The results of this experiment is usually coughing and upset stomachs!!!!
