A few weeks ago, I found these two amongst my potted Hyacinths. I think they were considering hibernation.

Yes Milkey, It is a strange bit of magic, and the first time that I have seen a black Ladybird with two red spots, and black eyes. They seem to leave behind a peculiar odour when you pick them up, which I have noticed when I have rescued them from my water-barrel pond. They were bright and shiney Morgana. I hope I get lot's of ladybirds next year. I like them...
