High tide roost

Redshank, Knot and Dunlin. These waders sit on these rocks during the high tide close to where people walk at the West Kirby Marina.

So glad you liked the pictures. The first day of the year realy was a chilly one but the wife and I make it a tradition to go out for a walk on this day whatever the weather, and to get pictures of birds when we are out is a bonus.

I know just how you feel Ray, when I was out and wanted to take a special picture and discovered I had left the card in the computer. Talk about, "Spitting the dummy".
Av-a-good Day Mate, like we say in Aussie.

Hey Tanny, my New Years resolution for you, your Missus and your camera, is to walk around West Kirby Marina at least once a week. Then rush home and post the bird photos on GOY for the rest of us to drool over ! ......PLEASE !!! :-))
