Hi Karin - you should definitely see the Hatfield House! it is fantastic! and on Thursdays The East Garden is open to the public... Really worth going there especially you live close to it. My course is just fantastic - Capel is wonderful place to study but they also have about 30 acres of show gardens - I enjoy every moment there - you should visit it as well. Highly recommend it:) This year is my final year in college - but I am already thinking about coming to another course once a week.... Since I am taking a foundation degree in garden design, I could do another year to take my master - but that maybe in the future. I always can take a floristry course at Capel, haha.

Hi Okasia- I will definatetly plan to go- I can't believe I have never been there in all the years I have lived so close by- too busy traveling farther afield to see whats on your doorstep! A friend of my sister used to teach at Capel- but I think she left some time ago. Hope you continue to enjoy. I will try to visit Capel too -need to google it!
