I think I'd collect these flowers even if they were difficult.
for some reason they are very top heavy this year. shortly after this it fell over and the stem got kinked. ...could they need calcium and magnesium? the potting medium is so light that even staking them doesn't secure them... I lost my best blossoms on my Goretti last year...it just toppled over and broke apart...boo hoo... maybe I could plant them three to a large heavy pot?

That happend to mine last year Lori...you just reminded me :-(

BTW my one is now about 50 cm tall but it hasn't opened up yet!!
