Bonkersbon...when we first moved here we had no wildlife coming to the property....so to get this pic is BIG .....for 2 years we saw birds fly over, but never land...things are changing, we have a few visitors now, so I count myself very lucky!
=^..^= my cats love sitting in the windows now! lol

Same here Healerwitch.Garden was totally neglected..fine in some respects but nothing fed either.Been here 2 years and the wildlife have come in droves. We installed a natural pond and fed the birds regularly. The rest is history .................lucky indeed !

we have been here for 2 years also...but spent most of that time getting the house truly liveable...this past summer is the first I have spent in the yard and garden.
We have a natural pond, and many trees, also we have left windfalls through the treed area to provide nesting areas....So far we have had peepers (small tree frogs), black racer snakes, a Bald eagle landed in our tallest tree at the edge of the property and a few chickadees, sparrows, and the one cardinal that was hiding in the tree in my blog (let it snow)!
I keep the cats indoors to avoid the hunting and safeguard the cats as well (we have dogs that neighbors to not control and they run in packs!)

Wow...that is wild !!! You have done so well..it is amazing the difference a pond makes..so much of the wildlife depends on it...

I started planting bushes, and flowers and bulbs this fall....next spring I hope to start some raised beds for veregtables.....there is always so much to do, but then that is everyone! We all have a lot to do, don't we? :o)))
