thanks for the good wishes! We've been working on our polytunnel today... very cold though! I've ordered lots of seeds from the UK and hope that by summer we'll have lots of lovely flowers. My husband is going to start making his raised beds this week for our veg plots... hopefully we'll grow all the fruit and veg we need too.

Since this photo was taken we've tried to level out the soil and added new top soil and re-seeded the lawn (I use the term loosely!) In the autumn we planted lots of shrubs, a dozen fruit trees and a few trees for shade and structure. Can't wait to get started now :)

Apart from the full sun, we're in a valley and the garden can be exposed to strong winds... building in some plants and structures is also going to be a must.

The blank canvas is good but I'm very impatient... maybe gardening will help me find some.
