That bed is sooo bright!

The only problem was that it was so flippin' hot it was torture to stand too long & admire things!

LOL. Yes, and humid too, that's what really does me in. Intense red in the intense heat. :-)

Well I took an umbrella with me this time & it made such a difference! I noticed a lot of Thai people with umbrellas so I didn't stick out like a sore thumb!

A perfect shade. Great thinking! I'll have to take an umbrella down to the desert with me next visit.

You could buy a version over there that was lined with reflective silver material (not sure if you can get them here). Mine is a small, folding brolly so it fitted into whatever bag I'd got with me. It made such a difference when we were walking around.
