Ah, I couldn't for the life of me think what these were! I didn't realise they could grow small as well as big & showy!

I love how they have the tiny flower inside the 'flower' which is really colored leaves. These can creep anyplace anysize in a climate like that. Wonderful things.

I think the only way we could grow them successfully in the UK would be in a heated conservatory. :((

Definately. I thought of trying them indoors, but they are prickly and I didn't really want to deal with it. Plus, getting one here.....whew.

It's certainly not a plant that's common in our Nurseries and Garden Centres!
