That rose is 'Gertrude Jekyll' Muddy...the leaves stayed very green and healthy on it all winter too....It will be getting the chop very soon...It is a great rose, very healthy and disease resistant, has a beautiful fragrance and lovely shaped petals...but its pink and for me that is its only down-side....:>))

Ah yes, one of David Austin's finest, the perfume is wonderful isn't it. I have a couple of his roses, but I also adore the 'old fashioned' roses, although like you say there's an awful lot of pink one's out there, although the perfume differs greatly. All my roses were planted last November so they are just 8in high twigs at the moment, but are just coming into leaf. I can't wait for them to flower - I can stick my nose into a rose and be lost for hours !!! :-))
