Most of the plants for this border came from the back garden, this resulted in a instant mature effect which was acheved in a day much to the supprise of the neighbours!!

Hi Louise, it's a penstemon "chester scarlet", very easy to take cuttings and the flowers last from the end of june till october, unfortunatly it didnt survive the winter this year so I'll have to get some cuttings from somewhere, we lost alot of plants this winter the lowest temp we recorded here was -21o.
