Maybe this was a window collision casualty too Muddy...My bedroom window is right above where he was lying....poor little bird indeed Holly....:<(

Aw, such a shame to see this (Chaffinch). Fortunately the breeding season has started and with a bit of luck his replacement wont be too long in arriving on the scene. I had a dead Greenfinch on my patio a few weeks back, that I think was a window collision casualty. :-(
