I've forgotten it's name. It's usually earlier but I'm pleased to see it.

The earliest one I know its called 'Christmas Cheer'. Growing in my college gardens - also very late this year.

Oh, thank you. Its label vanished but that was not its common name. I would have remembered that but the botanical names spring to mind less easily. It doesn't bloom as early as Christmas - but neither does the Christmas Rose!
