Veg patch in spring

From front to back:
The patch of mud where I should have a glut of spinach.
The spring cabbage that I should have spread out before going to Japan.
My glorious garlic - which I'm very pleased with :o)
My poor excuse for a herb garden.

Thanks Mike :o) The herb garden's right at the back though. There's a clump of parsley in the picture and the skeleton of my lavender next to it. Just looking out the window, it's actually doing OK, I think I just need to take the dead lavender out and replace it with, well, something less dead :o)
