White Comfrey ..... Garden Thug 04.08

It looks so innocent, but this spreads like wildfire.
I have started clearing it from Shenstone's rose bed where it has seen off many other perennials including some which look much stronger. So far I have only found a few struggling primulas and a few bits of an ornamental grass.
The white comfrey is going into a bucket where I shall use it to make a liquid feed, and the remaining sludge can go on the compost heap.
Good riddance ;-)

(I shall pot up a root or two so that I can continue to make the feed)
