I try to recyle when i can and plastic pop bottles are great, i have 3 uses for them
bottoms = plant pots
middles = i place around fresh planting to stop cats
tops = i'll use as mini closhes when i plant out anything

wanted to say thanks- i've pinched your idea to use the tops of bottles as closhes! i planted some onion sets in the gardenat the weekend and the birds keep pulling them up and leaving them scattered around the garden. the onions are now snuggled safely inside my new mini closhes, thanks to you!
