This is a photo taken last year of my Coreopsis meadow. I suppose you could say I go for the untamed look. Apparently, this species is only a short-lived perennial here and so I was only able to enjoy it for a few years; normally it's evergreen but it died off after last summer. I still have loads of Monarda fistulosa (wild bergamot) in that area and I've also planted Veronicastrum & Liatris this year.
