Look what I found!

This is a wild variety to your area. I was looking through a wildflower resource yesterday and this was listed in your area. What a welcome plus to have it sprout by the house!

I think our wild columbines are usually red or yellow, so maybe this came from somebody else's garden, or maybe my home's previous owners grew them. I don't know why I've never planted them, but maybe I should do so, since they apparently will self-seed well.
I just love these surprise plants!

Now thats what I'm find on the web, but I swear yesterday I found this in your area in a wild flower. Couldn't find it again. Still a welcome surprise.
