See, Jacque. You get loads of suggestions in here. My penniesworth? First thing that came to mind was some Delft tiles would look good. Maybe some clematis or other climbers grown in tubs. Don't think I wold have moved the bench. Looks like a nice place to sit and rest with a glass of wine on a summer's evening.

Places 2 sit with a glass of wine Are endless in my garden Ken :) Iv even a Nice out of the way Quite area i can sit 2 watch wildlife pass me by & a 3 seater Hammock which i got new from ebay last autumn 4 just £49.99 ! Cant wait to get it 2 gether :)

i saw a really good idea for bare walls in May - gardeners world mag, which was a shelf with holes cut out with little terricotta pots full of Gerbera in them, very versitle could do it with herbs - nice near the house and also change them according to season, bit different to baskets and patio pots, - if you get the chance have a look! i know you love a bit of DIY this would be right up your street! and would proberly fit in with some of the other good ideas.

loads you could do with it jacque,,, fix a trellis to it and grow some climbers, or fix some old plates or plaques to it,,,,,,,, im sure you will get loads of suggestions lol
