Something in my garden actually survived the winter

lovely angie. Did you lose a lot of things? I lost my Arbutus. I'd grown it from a small stick to about 7' tall and now it is deceased! boo! That seems to have been the only casualty as far as I can remember though. A lot of things are late or damaged, but I don't think anything else is actually gone.

I lost loads Karen - I had 2 huge hebe bushes out the front and they are frazzled too - Didn't like them anyway but when I get around to removing them there is going to be a gapping big hole - the plants that did survive good old Molly has managed to kill aaaaah

Oh that's right, I forgot,I also lost all my hebes. I had three in the front garden and they were all knackered. Like you, not that fond, so not too distressed, but yes, big gaps. I bought some lemon flowered wallflowers to put in in the meantime and although I don't much care for wallflowers I have to admit they are a pretty colour. I'm reconsidering all my less hardy planting experiments - sticking to the tough stuff now!
