Black cohosh is my problem plant. I bought 3 two years ago. The first year they grew, but not much, but it was a drought year so I wasn't too worried. I transplanted them last year to what I thought was a better location, but they did worse than in the previous year. I didn't think they'd survive the winter, but here they are. I'm going to transplant them again & this time really give them good soil and ample water. These will get huge, with a big spike of white flowers.
