Our new planter that has The President (Clematis) & Passion flower in it. Might put a few smaller plants at the front.

Hope so. Do you think I should put couple of small plants at the front or will the passion & clematis take it all up?

defernatly, love a bargain, if your clematis is in full sun, cover with slate or bark round roots, they love cool feet,, and sun at top

It's in full shade where it is now. 1 place the sun doesn't get due to a N/E facing garden. Been told this plant loves shade. The double planter going at side of shed only gets sun 1st thing in morning for about an hour or 2 then thats it.
