Hi Bornagain xx
This year i have tried to become more frugal and made many changes in my families daily living ( not all gone down to well with the kids ).
As for the garden, we've fensed off the top half and are slowly turning in into a mini allotment and growing lots of veggies. Everything i've grown so far has be from seed or given to keep costs down. All the containers from sowing seeds, potting on seedlings and then building raised beds has been recycled or saved from the bin :-) My new best friend in the web site freecycle :-)
Oh i love your profile pic xx what are thier names ?? do they get on ?? it does look like they are playing xx

Hi Kimmy, thanks they really love each other, both are from Birmingham Dogs Home. Meggy (white) had been very badly treated and was found on the streets having recently given birth. She was still bleeding and had loads of milk, her pups were not found. If you look on my profile, then blogs or pics you will see more about them. My daughter has recently become the proud owner of an allotment and is doing the same as you, it even has a greenhouse, how's that for luck! I've never grown veg myself, get put off by seeing creatures on it lol, but I'll eat my daughters if any spare. I nearly forgot, they're called Rosy and Meg:-)
