Here's another picture of the church (and our washing line!) The garden has two older plantings of trees. In this shot you can see four sycamores that have been perfectly planted in a quadrilateral plan and which now dominate the 'top' of the plot. They have a major impact on that corner, putting the rose bed and part of the vegetable plot in the shade by mid-afternoon. The fruit tree in the foreground is a greengage.
