Dryas octopetala or Mountain Avens.

i have this Drc its portulaca white, i got it the other week for near my pond ;o))

Thanks SB just looked it up, dont think it is the same as yours? the leaves seem quite different is yours a succulant?

fleshy leaves it has, hasnt yours, flower the same though, well looks the same

No they are more like the leaves on a shrub?

I posted it as question SB and Bulbaholic has named it - "it is Dryas octopetala or Mountain Avens. It is a sub-shrub alpine plant that grows across the mountains of northern Europe including Scotland. I would not expect to see it in southern England, though?"

Yes SB, its a lovely thick carpet on quite twiggy stems.
