First Iris of the year 2010

For some reason I have no Iris at all this year, I wonder why?

Thanks folks, I think I am going to have a bumper year this year judging from the buds, I have been waiting for 4 years for some and some i bought last year mail order have buds too so I am very pleased.

Well done Ld, I simply love them although short lived, there are some stunning colours around.

Yes GM I have been hooked for years!!

I had a whole bed of them and all colours and then it came to that moment to split them and wished I hadn't, it ruined the look and now they are fussy about flowering, I am very dissapointed, I should have gone with my instincts not the gardening book and left them well alone !
