oooooh mush i'm all spooked now - last night at a chilly 7pm, with NO wine involved at all, i planted a white flowering wisteria on the far post of the pergola (ok not exactly on the post but in some convenient earthy stuff just below)....
Fingers crossed he likes it there....Now i must manically clean off the pigeon poo from the bridge and finish blacking the deck..Will be putting a clematis near the other end, prob The President cos of his big beefy purple flowers. Then i just need to conjure up a cunning plan to keep the pigeons off the far top post - they seem to have claimed it as their own. Now where's that catapult???
