The name escapes me but it is over 40 years. Since we planted the Golden Hornet on the other side of the drive this has been producing the tiniest red fruit.

Thank you. I am refurbishing this part of the garden and others as the bungalow next door was demolished and a large detached villa built in its place. From the corner of our front wall down the length of their front boundary the previous owners had pine trees which gave us a lot of shelter but of course they went. The west wind used to fly up over the bungalow and up and over our house before dissipating at the back of our house. Now we have a wind channel between our house which is 9.6m high and the new one which has risen from the 4m of the bungalow to 8.6m. It hits our house and rebounds over our back (south side) garden. The new house is less than 4m away from our boundary on the west side of our south facing back garden and it has created a shady frost pocket. It has devastated our garden but when we complained to the ombudsman we were told that the expert who advised the first Scottish Government on planning law said the only way to be sure of what was built next to you was to buy up everything around you.
