I love the curvy wall + the whole effect is very Mediteranean with the white wall :-))

Thanks, to be honest it's a mix of lots of styles, we have the acers, with orange blossom, with olives, rosemary, topiary and now cottage garden flowers... It all seems to work well though.

Elliot, don't do what I did in Cyprus last year and think "I'll just try one of these olives straight from the tree" lol! Not a good idea! How on earth did we humans discover that if we soaked them in brine for weeks they would taste heavenly!! I sometimes wonder who on earth had that idea.......lol!

lol I don't really like them but I do like the idea of growing them and palming them off on unsuspecting victims!

They must have discovered that they taste better in brine when trying to preserve them, thats the only way I can think of.

Well, yes, that seems to make sense doesn't it Elliot, but if you'd tasted a raw one you would be wondering...like me...why anyone would think of trying to preserve them! lol :))

Ok you got me with that one. Perhaps where they originally come from nothing much else would grow so they had no choice... Poor sods... :P

Mmmm I think we shall probably never know, but that must be something like it because I've never tasted anything that seemed so obviously to be poisonous!! :))

No never tasted anything by Heston, although if you pickle a snail and puree it with the gullet of a golden goose sprinkled with grasshopper eyes you may come close :P

Heston should do a Gardening themed feast and invite us... We could be like Loose Women... (yea yea I don't mind being a loose woman) hehe
