Peregrine peaches on tree almost ripe (July 2009)
Peregrine is the most popular peach grown in the UK. Red flush on white skin. White flesh. Excellent rich flavour ('the most delectable, flavoursome, juicy, white flesh', Marshalls). Heavy cropping. Season of use: late Augustus
