Yes it is isn't it. Mine looks like it is giving up this year. No flowers. Will have to repot it and see what happens

We go down to Wimbourne and seemingly there is a band of ericaceous soil running north south of there. I take it you are not within it. some rhodos and azaleas are tolerant of neutral to alkaline soil.

Our soil is chalky, and we cannot grow azaleas, rhodos etc. things that like ericaceous, it would soon die. So if we want those shrubs we have to put them in pots. Unfortunately.
