Was wondering how you go on with the dreaded slugs. Are you vigilant and catch them at night or do you set beer traps? Or do you have another method?

Its a very very hard job keeping them off my hostas, I have about 60 at the moment. I use traps with fizzy coke and also copper pipe and run about at night after them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I luv Hosta`s Trev but am down to one decent one and three very chewed scraggy specimens it doesn`t seem to matter what I do the dreaded slugs do their stuff.
