The Peonies are in bloom!

Thanks Bb.... they have stood up well as we have had three rainstorms in the last two days... I grow mine in tomato cages..( by the time they bloom the cages are not visible) so when the blossoms are laden with water they don't drop their petals or end up on the ground. wonderful things...gone too soon.

Like our blousy poppies then....magnificent for about 2 days !

oh yes... poppies are lovely until the rain gets them...it rained again last night and the poor peonies are looking a little bedraggled...
