We were given a very battered 10 inch clump at the end of April '10 by our friend, Mal. We popped it in to see if it would establish - which it seems to be doing by June '10 - it's certainly having a go at flowering. Some of the flower spikes have 2 male flowers at the end, I thought the norm was 1. Who Norm is I don't know ... answers on a postcard to:
I shall continue the research department
Looking at the plant, I think it looks prime for division March/April '11 (that's if we like it of course)
