Clematis "The President"

He is lovely, my 'President' is not very happy because I moved him earlier in the year, but I am hopeful that he will backup his idea and get going for next year. :))

My President isn't so good this year either due to clumsy builders. At one time it was 6 feet wide and quite magnificent but my old dog used to just flop down where she stood if she got tired and one day, she sat on the President and broke his leg. He was just starting to recover when the builder put the boot in. :)
